Scope

This standard applies to ductile cast iron pipe C-pipe for pressure pipelines. When used in gas pipelines, the allowable pressure can be up to 1 Kgf/cm2. If this type of pipe is used in gas pipelines exceeding 1 Kgf/cm2, special guidelines should be followed. If used in water pipelines, the nominal pressure listed in the table applies. By special agreement, higher nominal pressures may also be used.
