Scope

This standard applies to aluminum sheets (thickness exceeding 0.15 to 6.34 mm) and aluminum plates (thickness exceeding 6.34 mm) made of aluminum (aluminum or aluminum alloy) by rolling. Note: Aluminum sheets referred to in this standard include mill-finished aluminum flat sheets, aluminum coiled sheets and aluminum plates, but do not include sloped sheets, embossed sheets, colored sheets, anodized sheets and special gloss sheets.
