- This standard applies to the explosion-proof structure of electrical equipment used alone or as part of other mechanical devices in coal mines or pits where flammable gases or explosive coal dust exist. (Hereinafter referred to as the explosion-proof structure of electrical equipment) The intrinsically safe explosion-proof structure is also applicable to the structure of intrinsically safe machines and intrinsically safety-related machines installed in non-hazardous places. Remarks: 1. It has explosion-proof performance against explosive gas and coal dust.
