Scope

This standard is applicable to the method for determining the volatile sulfur content in liquefied petroleum gas. Note 1. In order to avoid errors caused by nitrogen oxides generated by air combustion (resulting in 0.01% error), this test method uses CO2–O2 mixed gas instead. This method is suitable for determination work when the sulfur content is extremely low.
