- This standard applies to the materials, shapes, dimensions and ultrasonic testing and verification methods of type A1 standard gauge blocks for ultrasonic testing (the gauge blocks are marked STB-A1). Its main uses are to set the detection sensitivity and detection range, determine the incident point and refraction angle of the oblique beam transducer, and evaluate the characteristics of the oblique beam transducer and ultrasonic detector system.
