- This standard applies to electromagnetic contactors for high-speed opening and closing of resistance welding machines with AC circuits with frequencies below 250V and frequencies of 50 Hz or 60Hz (hereinafter referred to as contactors). The operating status of the contactor, rated frequency, temperature measurement, and determination of ambient temperature are in accordance with CNS 5017 General Provisions for Resistance Welding Machines.
