- Scope
- This method is suitable for testing the concentration of sulfate ions in tap water, various natural waters, industrial wastewater, and urban sewage. The concentration of SO4-2 in this water may range from a few ppm to tens of thousands of ppm, with huge differences. If the total amount of SO4-2 in the test water sample is more than 10 mg, this method can be applied to quantify it. For particularly high concentrations, For water samples, it is advisable to reduce the amount taken and dilute it appropriately.
