Scope

This standard stipulates that the percentage of the first, second, and tertiary amines in the sample be calculated from the measured first, second, tertiary amine and non-amine values. This method is applicable to aliphatic primary amines, bis-fat secondary amines, tri-fatty tertiary amines and non-amines, but is not applicable to coconut fat primary amines and tallow bis-fat secondary amines.
