- This standard applies to ductile iron FFR-pieces. When used in gas pipelines, the allowable pressure can be up to 1 bar. If such fittings are used in gas lines exceeding 1 bar, special guidelines should be followed. If used in water pipelines, the nominal pressure listed in the table applies. By special agreement, higher nominal pressures can also be used. If FFR-pieces require position fixing equipment, special agreements must be followed
