- Scope
- 1.1 This standard covers sinterable nuclear-grade uranium dioxide powder, which is applicable to uranium dioxide powder containing any amount of uranium-235 used in nuclear reactors. 1.2 This standard considers that reprocessed uranium will be used in the fuel cycle, and therefore specifies the limit value of the isotope content in commercial uranium dioxide powder. For fuel wells and manufacturing, products made from reprocessed uranium or not made from reprocessed uranium may be allowed within this limit.
