Scope

This standard specifies methods for determining the noise level of constant noise (1) emitted by various types of fans, blowers and compressors. Note (1): The so-called noise level of constant noise means that the noise changes within 8 db (decibel) and lasts for more than 5 minutes. The average value can be roughly regarded as unchanged during measurement.
