Scope

This standard stipulates a testing method that is based on the measured values drawn from each group (or representative batch) when the standard deviation of two independent groups is unknown and whether there is a significant difference between the average values of the two groups. , (the population standard deviation is unknown (Note 1), two-sided test). In addition, this test method stipulates that the two groups of samples are of equal size and the population standard deviations can be considered equal (Note 2).
