Scope

This standard specifies a test method for determining the bending fatigue of rigid plastic flat plates by the plane bending method. However, the plane bending fatigue test referred to in this article refers to a test in which a bending moment is repeatedly applied to the plane in a plane that is orthogonal to the surface of the flat test piece and passes through the axis of the test piece to measure the fatigue properties of plastics.
