- This standard applies to high-voltage discharge coils of ultra-high voltage phase-advancing capacitors (hereinafter referred to as capacitors) composed of "high-voltage power capacitors" or capacitor banks in power transmission and distribution systems with a rated voltage of 3300V 60Hz. Its function is to improve the power factor and adjust voltage, and achieve the purpose of discharging the residual charge in a short time when the capacitor is cut off. Note: This standard also applies to capacitors less than 3300V
