Scope

1.1 This standard specifies a method for measuring the neutron flux rate using the activation reaction of 32S(n,p)32P. 1.2 This reaction is for neutrons with measured energies greater than 3MeV. 1.3 Using appropriate techniques, the fragmentation neutron flux in the range of 5×10 8 to 10 16n/cm2 can be measured.
