Scope

This standard applies to copper-nickel-chromium plating (hereinafter referred to as electroplating) on zinc alloy substrates for corrosion protection and decoration purposes. Note: The base material is zinc alloy, which is cast by die-casting, sand mold or metal pattern. Zinc alloy is highly chemically active, so special attention should be paid during electroplating.
