Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the calcium sulfate content of hardened Portland cement mass. The SO3 content present in the aqueous extract of ground hardened raw materials can show the reaction process of CaSO3 in hydration. With this method, it can be determined whether the CaSO4 content in the cement manufacturing process is the optimal value.
