Scope
This standard specifies the quantification of silica content in natural and artificial cryolite and natural and synthetic substances with a molar ratio (NaF/AlF3) between approximately 3 and 1.7 using the reduced molybdenum silicate absorbance photometry method. This method is applicable to products with phosphorus and oxide (P2O5) content not exceeding 0.02% (m/m).
