- This standard specifies the testing method for acrylonitrile butadiene synthetic rubber latex (hereinafter referred to as latex). The latex specified in this article refers to latex with a combined acrylonitrile content (Note 1) of less than 50%. Note: The units and values within {} in this standard are based on the International System of Units (SI). Note 1: The determination of the amount of combined acrylonitrile is in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.3.
