Scope

This standard specifies the stability test of emulsified asphalt – water miscibility test method (1) and water miscibility improvement test method (2). Note 1: This test is not applicable to ultra-fast setting emulsified asphalt. Note 2: The improved test method can be used to determine the water miscibility of setting and slow-setting emulsified asphalt. It is not suitable for fast-setting emulsified asphalt.
