- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for determining the phosphorus content in new lubricating oils and their additives or their concentrates. Note: This determination method is not limited to the existence form of phosphide, such as: trivalent or pentavalent phosphide, phosphine, phosphite derivatives, phosphoric acid, phosphorus sulfide, etc. This is because this state is used during the analysis process. It will be quantitatively oxidized into an orthophosphate column ion solution that is easily soluble in water.
