Scope

This standard specifies methods for the determination of the following properties of coke. 1.1 True density of coke: Grind the coke to a particle size below 0.2mm and measure its density relative to water. 1.2 The apparent density of coke: It is the ratio of a certain amount of dry coke volume to an equivalent amount of water volume. 1.3 Method for calculating coke porosity.
