- This standard applies to silicon carbide electric heating bodies (hereinafter referred to as electric heating bodies). Note 1: The electric heating system uses silicon carbide as the main component of the electric heating element. In a furnace with normal air, the heating part can withstand surface temperatures above 1500°C. Note 2: The numerical values and units within {} in this standard are in the International System of Units (SI) and are recorded for reference only.
