Scope

This standard is applicable to aluminum and aluminum alloys that chemically form a chromate film (hereinafter referred to as the film) on their surface in order to make it corrosion-resistant, enhance paint adhesion, and obtain a protective film with higher conductivity than anodized treatment. This film has considerable anti-corrosion power and can be used as the base layer of paint.
