- This standard is applicable to components and machines (hereinafter referred to as specimens) that are subject to less frequent and no repeated impacts. The impact test can be used as a design method to meet the structural integrity of the sample and as a quality management method. Basically, it is a standard pulse test that applies specified peak acceleration and action time to the sample. For matters that should be stipulated in product specifications and related necessary guidelines, please refer to Section 1.
