Scope
This standard applies to explosion-proof switches for mines and general use. (Abbreviated as switch below) 1.1 The mine switch is suitable for coal mines where flammable gas or explosive coal dust exists. It can be used alone or attached to other mechanical devices to switch it on and off. 1.2 The general switch type is suitable for use in places where there is a risk of explosion due to the presence of explosive gases in the general air.
