- This standard specifies methods for determining the tendency of aviation reciprocating, turbine and injection engine fuels to form glue and deposits under accelerated aging conditions (1) (2) (3). Note (1): Caution – This method is not suitable for determining the stability of fuel components, especially those containing large amounts of unsaturated components with low boiling points.
