- This standard stipulates the thermal storage performance test method for solar system appliances that use liquid as the thermal storage medium to store heat energy in the form of sensible heat, and thermal storage and indirect thermal storage solar thermal storage tanks (hereinafter referred to as thermal storage tanks). However, it is not suitable for heat collection media that utilize latent heat and heat storage tanks that use heat storage media. The term "thermal storage tank" as mentioned in this standard refers to the storage tank used for hot water supply and thermal storage, with a thermal storage capacity of less than 1000 l.
