Scope

This standard specifies the sample collection method, sample preparation method, moisture measurement method and particle size measurement method required to determine the average grade value of a batch of chromium ore, ore and iron-manganese ore (hereinafter referred to as ore). Notes 1.: Ferromanganese ore refers to ore with an average of more than 20% manganese and more than 16% iron. 2.: This standard is in principle based on the provisions of CNS 11456 [General Principles of Sampling Method for Powder Block Mixtures].
