- This standard is applicable to hot and cold water pipes for water supply. The middle sandwich is a welded aluminum pipe as the reinforcing layer. The inner and outer layers are made of cross-linked high-density polyethylene, which is adhered to the inner and outer surfaces of the aluminum pipe with hot melt adhesive and formed by co-extrusion. Pipe (hereinafter referred to as XLPE–AL–XLAP plastic pipe). Note: The values within {} in this standard are in metric units.
