- This standard specifies methods for determining various properties of paper and cardboard after dry heat treatment at 105°C. Note: This method is suitable for testing the aging properties of paper made from chemical wood pulp and rag pulp, but it is not applicable to paper and cardboard containing mechanical pulp. There is no actual confirmation on whether the aging properties of coated paper, wet-strength paper and some electrical insulating papers are measured reliably.
