- This standard specifies the testing methods for arsenic in leachate from industrial waste, leachate from pollutants in soil and groundwater. The method detection limit (1) is 2.0 μg As∕L. This standard does not apply to samples containing high concentrations of chromium, copper, mercury, nickel, cobalt and molybdenum in the matrix. Note (1): The method detection limit (MDL) is the minimum concentration of the substance to be tested that can be measured by a specific test method. Preparation 1: All samples
