- This standard specifies the method for measuring pulp viscosity using a falling ball viscometer, which is applicable to pulp containing more than 4% lignin (1): CNS 7748 [Pulp viscosity determination method (Cannon Fenske capillary viscometer method)] is applicable to pulp containing 4% The following lignin pulp. Note (1): Although this standard is applicable to pulp containing more than 4% lignin, it is not applicable to high-yield pulp (yield exceeds 50%).
