- This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, accompanying documents, transportation and storage, operation and use, and quality commitments of battery-operated reach forklifts. This document applies to walk-on or ride-on battery reach forklifts (hereinafter referred to as forklifts) with a rated lifting capacity of 500 kg to 5 000 kg and forward-moving masts or forward-moving forks.
