Scope

This standard specifies a test method for measuring the tear strength of fabrics or non-fabrics using the trapezoidal method. Applicable to most geotextiles, including fabrics, non-woven fabrics, multi-layer fabrics, knitted fabrics and felts used in geotextiles.
