- 1.1 This standard specifies the analysis method for the total sulfur content in liquid petroleum products and solid petroleum products that can become liquids after heating or can be dissolved into liquids with appropriate organic solvents. The concentration range analyzed will vary depending on the instrument and the sample being tested.
