- Scope
- This standard specifies the ultrasonic testing of seamless or welded titanium pipes. The outer diameter of the pipe is above 10mm and below 150mm. The pipe wall thickness is above 0.3mm and below 10mm. The ratio of the pipe wall thickness to the pipe outer diameter (t/D ) below 0.2, use pulse wave reflection ultrasonic detector to implement oblique beam ultrasonic testing testing timing, calibration method, testing procedures, acceptance standards and testing records.
