- This standard specifies random vibration test methods for vehicle components (hereinafter referred to as components), and is applicable to the use environment of components in a random vibration state. The purpose of conducting tests is to understand the mechanical defects or deterioration that may occur in a product under a given usage environment, and to use the test results to formulate product test specifications and ensure quality. Note: The units and numerical values in {} in this standard are conventional units.
