- This standard specifies the test method for the bending strength of simply supported beams subjected to quarter point loading. Remarks 1. The bending strength test of stone should consider the material condition, the relationship between the force and the vertical and parallel movement of the stone grain. 2. When necessary, the stone must be subjected to a bending strength test in a wet state. 3. The units in { } in this standard are in the customary metric system, and their numerical values are approximate.
