Scope

This standard applies to cigarettes, which are smoked with a smoking machine in accordance with CNS 14373. After collecting the main smoke flow components, the nicotine content in the smoke flow agglomerates is measured with a gas chromatograph. This method is also applicable to the determination of nicotine content in cigarette smoke agglomerates obtained by other smoking methods.
