Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the method for determination of total lead content in gasoline. It is suitable for gasoline containing alkyl lead with a concentration of 0.026~1.3g Pb/L, 0.12~6.0g Pb/Ukgal, and 0.1~5.0g Pb/Usgal. Note: g/L units are generally used, but g/Usgal and g/Ukgal units widely used in industry are also acceptable. 1.2 This standard is not intended to address all safety issues related to its use.
