- This standard is one of the test standards for coatings, varnishes and related products and specifies a procedure for evaluating the corrosion resistance of single or multi-layer coatings of coatings or related products to humid atmospheres containing sulfur dioxide. This method allows the use of different volumes of sulfur dioxide measured at atmospheric pressure for testing, but the generally recommended volume is 0.2L and the coating thickness does not exceed approximately 40 μm.
