Scope
This standard stipulates the gas chromatography method for quantifying organic oxides containing oxygenated gasoline with a final boiling point not greater than 220°C and containing oxides with a boiling point not exceeding 130°C. It will be applicable when the oxygen content range is from 0.1 to 20%. Note 1: The purpose of this standard is to determine the mass concentration of each oxygen species in gasoline.
