Scope

1.l This test method includes steps for determining the smoke point of kerosene and aviation fuel. Note l: There is a good correlation between luminance value (Luminometer number) and smoke point, which will be explained in Reference Xl. 1.2 This standard does not describe all safety issues in detail. Users must establish relevant safety and health regulations before using this standard.
