Scope

This part specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture and acceptance of gear honing machines. This section is applicable to external gear honing machines, internal gear honing machines, and worm gear honing machines with a maximum workpiece diameter of 125 mm to 800 mm and a module of 4 mm to 10 mm.
