- This standard specifies the safety requirements for oil (gas) field containers, gathering and transportation pipelines, loading and unloading facilities, grounding devices and grounding testing. This standard applies to the installation and testing of grounding devices for all metal containers, pipelines and loading and unloading facilities that contain and transport flammable gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and flammable liquids in oil (gas) fields.
