Scope

This European Standard specifies a test method for determining the resis ance to fuels of a bituminous mixture or a bituminous pavement. The procedure first involves the immersion in fuel of a test piece prepared in the laboratory or extracted from the roadway, followed by an abrasion phase using a brushing test device. The loss of material from the test piece makes it possible to measure the resis ance of the bituminous mixture to this fuel.
