NF P18-650-9*NF EN 1097-9:2014 Tests for mechanical and physical properties of aggregates - Part 9 : determination of the resistance to wear by abrasion from studded tyres - Nordic test
This European Standard describes the reference method used for type testing and in case of dis ute to determine the resis ance of chippings to abrasive wear caused by studded tires. For other purposes, in particular for control production of aggregates, other methods may be used, provided that an appropriate correlation with the reference method has been establis ed. The test is applicable to aggregates with a particle size fraction between 11.2 mm and 16 mm.
