Scope

This standard specifies high-performance liquid chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry for the determination of spectinomycin content in feed. This standard high performance liquid chromatography method is suitable for the determination of spectinomycin in compound feeds; the high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method is suitable for the determination of spectinomycin in compound feeds, concentrated feeds, additive premixed feeds, and concentrate supplements. The detection limit of high performance liquid chromatography is 2.0 mg/kg, and the limit of quantitation is 5.0 mg/kg; the detection limit of high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry is 1.0 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 2.0 mg/kg.
