- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, equipment principles, equipment requirements, management and maintenance of firefighters' personal protective equipment. This standard applies to the personal protective equipment of firefighters in the public security fire brigade. Other forms of fire brigade firefighters' personal protective equipment may be equipped with reference to this standard.
